Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make a stop in Skipton for some free time before continuing to Lytham St Annes.
Day 2
We start the day at Chorley Market. Browse over 100 stalls selling everything from fresh produce to clothes and accessories with plenty of bargains to be found. Onwards to Olympus Restaurant in Bolton for an included lunch (Olympus cod, chips and peas served with bread and butter, tea or coffee)
Day 3
Travelling north, we visit Morecambe. Stroll along Morecambe’s award-winning promenade with an ice cream and don’t forget to visit the Eric Morecambe statue. The remainder of the day is spent in nearby Lancaster. Visit the castle and museums to uncover the city’s ancient history or browse the quirky boutiques and galleries in the centre.
Day 4
Today we visit Rufford Old Hall. Meander through the house with its fantastic furniture, arms, armour, tapestries and the carved oak screen, a rare survivor from the 1500s. the house is surrounded by manicured lawns and colourful borders.
Day 5
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and have free time in Southport before returning home. The traditional seaside town has an abundance of independent shops and eateries amongst stunning Victorian architecture.
