Itinerary
Day 1
Depart from your local pickup point and travel to London, arriving in the early afternoon.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you choose. Browse the world-famous shops of Oxford Street and Regent Street, explore Covent Garden's boutiques and street performers, stroll through historic streets, visit one of London's many iconic attractions, or simply relax in one of the capital's countless cafés and restaurants. With so much to see and do, the choice is yours.
Our coach will depart from The Strand at 8.00pm, before we continue to our hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
After a delicious buffet breakfast, we return to central London.
Spend the morning at your leisure or join us for a visit to the British Museum to experience one of the most anticipated exhibitions of the decade.
Optional Visit – The Bayeux Tapestry - £36
For the first time in almost 1,000 years, the legendary Bayeux Tapestry is returning to England.
On loan from France and on display at the British Museum from September 2026 until July 2027, this extraordinary 70-metre embroidery tells the remarkable story of the events leading to the Battle of Hastings and the Norman Conquest of England in 1066.
One of the greatest treasures of the medieval world, the tapestry provides a fascinating insight into life in 11th-century England, depicting castles, ships, warfare, clothing, feasting and everyday life in remarkable detail. Believed to have been commissioned by a Norman patron and embroidered by English craftspeople, it is both an invaluable historical record and an extraordinary work of art. This is a rare opportunity to witness one of the world's most celebrated medieval masterpieces.
In the afternoon, we make our way to the ever-popular Wembley Park, one of London's most exciting entertainment and leisure destinations. Whether you're looking to indulge in a little retail therapy at the London Designer Outlet, enjoy lunch or coffee in one of the area's many stylish cafés and restaurants, or simply soak up the lively atmosphere beneath the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium, there's plenty to enjoy.
The pedestrianised boulevard is lined with striking public art, colourful installations and inviting places to relax, while the outlet centre offers a fantastic selection of high street favourites and designer brands with great-value prices. With entertainment, shopping and dining all in one place, Wembley Park provides the perfect finale to your London break before we rejoin the coach for our journey home.
After two wonderful days combining history, culture, shopping and leisure, we return home with plenty of great memories from our London Winter Sensation.
