Itinerary

Day 1

Depart in the morning from your local pick-up point and journey to the charming seaside town of Llandudno. This evening, join us for a welcome drink in the lounge before enjoying a candle-lit dinner to begin your festive break

Day 2

Christmas Day
Wake up to a special gift from Santa at breakfast. Today we visit the picturesque village of Portmeirion, a colourful, Italian‑inspired village set on a private coastal peninsula with spectacular estuary and woodland views. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner followed by lively entertainment at the hotel.

Day 3

Boxing Day
A day at leisure to relax to explore Llandudno. This afternoon, the hotel hosts a Bingo or quiz in the ballroom for some festive fun.

Day 4

New Year’s Eve
A scenic day exploring Betws-y-Coed, surrounded by stunning Snowdonia landscapes. We visit the Bodnant Welsh Food Shop, before continuing to the historic walled town of Conwy, with time to explore at leisure. In the evening, celebrate New Year’s Eve with a gala dinner and entertainment, welcoming the new year in style.

Day 5

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin the journey home, with a stop at Chester Christmas Market to enjoy the festive atmosphere and pick up last-minute gifts.

The Merrion Hotel is a well‑located seafront hotel on Llandudno’s iconic Victorian promenade, offering a classic coastal stay with modern comforts. It is just a short walk to Llandudno Pier, town centre and attractions like the Great Orme Tramway. The hotel has a lift.
