Itinerary

Day 1

After being collected from your local pick-up point, we travel to Liverpool with a comfort stop along the way. On arrival at the hotel, drop off your luggage and head out into the city. Liverpool City Centre is compact and walkable. There are various ‘quarters’ (more than four) that represent the various areas of the city centre. They are The Ropewalks, The Georgian Quarter, Cavern Quarter, The Baltic Triangle, The Waterfront, St George’s Quarter and Chinatown. With plenty of eateries, bars, shops and attractions, there's so much to explore!

Day 2

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before rejoining the coach for an exciting trip to The Beatles Story, the world’s largest permanent exhibition dedicated to the legendary band. Immerse yourself in this magical history tour and see how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzying heights of worldwide fame and fortune to become the greatest band of all time - from their Liverpool childhood, through the early days of the band, to world domination and on to their solo careers. Find out how the Fab Four met, go behind the scenes at the famous Abbey Road Studios and take an underwater trip on the Yellow Submarine.

This afternoon, you’ll enjoy a laid-back 50-minute river cruise along the River Mersey, with plenty of great views. There’s fascinating history to discover as you sail past Liverpool’s waterfront landmarks, it’s all brought to life with fun and informative audio commentary along the way. Get ready to hear the tales of the three diverse influences, smuggling, music and war, that have touched this friendly city over the years and given it a unique charm.

The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3

After breakfast and hotel checkout, we head to Chester. The city features Roman-era architecture, numerous museums and galleries, as well as a variety of shops from boutiques to high street stores for all budgets. Upon arrival, you'll have time to explore Chester’s historic streets and admire the ancient city walls, which are among the most complete in Britain. Make sure to visit the impressive Chester Cathedral, a marvel of medieval design, and stroll along the picturesque River Dee. The city also offers delightful cafes and restaurants—perfect for a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea. If you’re interested in culture, Chester’s museums provide insights into the city’s fascinating Roman history and vibrant local traditions. Whether browsing artisan boutiques or unwinding in a tranquil park, Chester promises a memorable day filled with discovery and charm. We return home late afternoon.

Set on the edge of the city's commercial district, opposite the Royal Liver building, the hotel is within walking-distance to some of Liverpool's best attractions. Just ten minutes’ walk away is The Cavern Club, Albert Dock and Liverpool One. This hotel has lifts and states it is wheelchair accessible.
