Itinerary
Day 1
After meeting your coach at your local pickup point, sit back and relax as your holiday begins. Our first stop is the elegant spa town of Harrogate, where you’ll have time to explore its charming streets, boutiques, and cafés. Later in the afternoon, we continue to the seaside town of Morecambe, your home for the next four nights.
Day 2
Today we visit the historic city of Lancaster, rich in heritage and character. Wander at your own pace, perhaps discovering its castle, shops, or riverside views. We return to Morecambe mid-afternoon, giving you time to relax or enjoy a stroll along the promenade before dinner.
Day 3
We journey through the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales to the Wensleydale Creamery. Here, you’ll enjoy a fascinating demonstration as skilled cheesemakers craft traditional Yorkshire Wensleydale by hand, with insights into both cheese and butter making.
In the afternoon, we continue to the quaint market town of Sedbergh, known for its bookshops and scenic charm.
Day 4
Today we explore the stunning Lake District. Begin with a nostalgic steam train journey from Haverthwaite to Lakeside, followed by a scenic cruise across Lake Windermere to the lively town of Bowness-on-Windermere. Spend the afternoon at leisure—browse local shops, enjoy lakeside views, or visit the World of Beatrix Potter.
Day 5
After breakfast, we say goodbye to Morecambe and begin our journey home. En route, we stop at the magnificent Piece Hall, a beautifully restored Georgian building filled with independent shops and cafés—the perfect final treat before heading home.
