Itinerary

Day 1

We depart in the morning for Southampton, where we board the ferry for the scenic crossing to the Isle of Wight. On arrival, we continue to our hotel in the popular seaside resort of Shanklin, arriving in the early evening with time to settle in and relax.

Day 2

Today is free to enjoy Shanklin at leisure. This charming seaside resort offers a traditional promenade, sandy beaches, and the picturesque Old Village with its thatched cottages, boutique shops, and cosy cafés.

Day 3

We start the day at Alum Bay, renowned for its spectacular coastal scenery and breathtaking views of the iconic Needles. We then make a short stop in the charming harbour town of Yarmouth, with time to explore and enjoy the waterfront. This afternoon, we continue to Carisbrooke Castle, a historic fortress rich in royal history and offering panoramic views across the Island.

Day 4

Today we enjoy free time in Ryde, the Island’s largest town, with its elegant seafront, long pier, and excellent selection of shops and cafés. Later, we experience a nostalgic journey on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, travelling through unspoilt countryside on a beautifully restored heritage line.

Day 5

We check out of the hotel this morning and retrace our journey home, taking the ferry back to the mainland and continuing onwards with fond memories of our Isle of Wight holiday.
