Itinerary

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pick up point, we make our way to Kent arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

Day 2

Today we visit Hever Castle & Gardens, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Experience over 700 years of history as you wander through the castle seeing lavish interiors and opulent antiques. Step outside to admire the manicured gardens. One of the most spectacular areas is the Italian Garden which is a pleasure to visit at any time of the year.

Day 3

Today we have a free day in Tunbridge Wells. Browse among the chic independent shops of the colonnaded Pantiles and the High Street, with buzzy cafes bars, music and one-of-a-kind shops.

Day 4

A full day at Chatham Historic Dockyard awaits. Discover 400 years of world class maritime history, through buildings, ships, architecture and people on a guided tour. For more than four centuries The Historic Dockyard Chatham was one of Britain’s most important centres of warship building and repair. Over 400 warships were built here, allowing the Royal Navy to dominate the seas of Europe and beyond. Today it is the world’s most complete dockyard of the Age of Sail.

Day 5

After breakfast, rejoin the coach for the return journey home.
