Itinerary
Day 1
Depart in the morning from your local pick-up point and make your way to the historic market town of Shrewsbury. Famous for its beautiful medieval streets, timber-framed buildings, and charming shops, Shrewsbury offers plenty to explore at your own pace. Enjoy some free time to wander the streets, stop for a coffee, or take in the riverside scenery before continuing to your hotel for check-in.Day 2
Today we take a scenic journey through the picturesque Black & White villages of Weobley, Pembridge, and Leominster, where traditional timber-framed houses and quaint streets evoke the charm of a bygone era. Take your time to explore, enjoy the scenery, and perhaps capture a few photographs. Later, we visit Hereford, a city steeped in history, with its stunning cathedral, independent shops, and inviting cafés, giving you some free time to explore at leisure.Day 3
After breakfast, we travel to the magnificent Tredegar House & Gardens, a beautifully preserved stately home surrounded by stunning landscaped gardens. Explore the elegant interiors, stroll through the gardens, and enjoy the atmosphere of this historic property. Later, we continue to the charming town of Monmouth, where history and culture combine in its streets, markets, and riverside walks. There will be time to explore and perhaps enjoy lunch in one of the town’s inviting eateries.Day 4
Following breakfast and check-out, we make our way to the beautiful Trentham Gardens, renowned for its stunning landscaped grounds, serene lakes, and vibrant floral displays. Enjoy a leisurely walk or simply relax and take in the surroundings before we begin our journey home, bringing to a close a memorable four-day break filled with history, scenery, and delightful experiences.
Bells Hotel & Country Club
This hotel is nestled in the Forest of Dean near the market town of Coleford. Each room has an en suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Please note the hotel does not have a lift but ground floor rooms are available on request.
