The West Yorkshire village of Haworth hosts one of the biggest and best 1940’s events in the country as the village is transformed with decorations, stalls, dances and re-enactments. To add to the nostalgia, we include a ride on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pickup point to Yorkshire Air Museum. Learn about some amazing aircraft and the incredible people who designed, built and flew them at the UK’s largest independent aircraft museums. Mid afternoon we continue to the hotel in Ilkley.
Day 2
After a leisurely start to the day, we make the short journey to Keighley where we board the train to Haworth for the 1940’s event. Join in the celebrations, see vintage vehicles and admire the costumes before the return train journey to meet the coach to take us home.
