Itinerary

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Great Yarmouth with comfort stops en route.

Day 2

Today we see Norfolk by rail, road and water! Starting at Aylsham Station we board the Bure Valley Railway to Wroxham where the coach will be waiting for a short drive to Horning. From here we have a 90 minute cruise along the Norfolk Broads with fantastic views of glorious countryside. Afterwards there will be some free time in Horning before returning to Great Yarmouth.

Day 3

We begin the day in Cromer. The traditional seaside resort is famous for Banksy's Great British Spraycation artwork and Cromer Pier, where the UK’s only remaining traditional end of the pier variety show takes place. In the afternoon we visit nearby Felbrigg Hall, Gardens & Estate. This elegant 17th century country house is full of surprises and delights, with a mixture of opulence and homeliness. See if you can find he secret door hidden within the gothic library. The elegant room contains over 5000 books with the oldest dating back to 1509. It is reputed to be haunted by former owner William Windham III(1750-1810), a lover of books who died of injuries sustained while attempting to rescue a friend’s library collection from a fire.

Day 4

Free day in Norwich. This wonderful city is a fusion of the modern and historic with medieval buildings, high street shopping and riverside walks. The cathedral is well worth a visit with its towering spire and fascinating exhibitions.

Day 5

After a leisurely breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way home.
