Itinerary

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Glasgow arriving late afternoon. Settle into your new surroundings before tonight’s included dinner. 

Day 2

Day at leisure. The hotel is suitably located with many of the city’s main attractions within a 15 minute walk. Glasgow is well known for its art and the Hunterian Museum & Art Gallery, Scotland’s oldest public museum, is a splendid wonder of art, science and history. The Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is also a must – it has an incredible array of 8000 exhibits with everything from dinosaur bones, medieval armour and even a World War II Spitfire. If it is shopping you are looking for then Glasgow is the place to be with several major shopping centres and arcades fully stocked with global brands as well as more local offerings. 

Day 3

Choose to have another free day in Glasgow or join our optional excursion to Stirling Castle. Enter the world of Scotland’s Renaissance kings and queens and discover a world of colour, splendour and glorious craftsmanship. See the Great Hall that hosted feasts, dances and pageants. 

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast, we rejoin the coach and make our way home.
