Join us for a spring break to Folkestone. Kent’s port town has seen lots of regeneration making it a lively seaside resort with a stunning coastline and historic buildings. We include a trip across the English Channel to Ostend.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Day 1
Morning pickup, we make our way to Folkestone arriving at the hotel late afternoon.
Day 2
Full day in the beautiful medieval city of Canterbury. There is a rich mix of history and charm. The Cathedral is a well-loved attractions with visitors flocking to discover over 1400 years beliefs, architecture and even historic graffiti.
Day 3
Choose to either have a free day in Folkestone or join us on an included outing to the Belgium seaside town of Ostend. The “City by the Sea” is known for its excellent sea food and its famous grey shrimp croquettes, a local delicacy found in many of the restaurants. Discover charming side streets where you can find souvenirs to take home.

Today we visit Dover Castle. Sitting on top of the white cliffs of Dover, this mighty castle has a labyrinth of secret underground tunnels that for 200 years have provided shelter, safety and secrecy to those defending our shores. Step inside King Henry II’s Great Tower which offers a genuine re-creation of a regal medieval world.
Day 5
After a leisurely breakfast, we check out of the hotel and retrace our journey home.

Nestled in the serene West End of Folkestone, this elegant Victorian 4-star hotel overlooks the famous Leas Promenade and the English Channel. Built in the 1890s, the Burlington combines historical elegance with modern amenities. It’s a short stroll from Folkestone’s town centre, Creative Quarter and popular Harbour Arm, a lovely promenade with small shops and bars. The hotel has a lift.
