Escape to the English Riviera for a wonderfully relaxing extended summer break in Torquay, where we’ll spend a full week based at a beautiful spa hotel. With a blend of scenic excursions, charming coastal towns, and plenty of free time to unwind, this holiday offers the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation.

Itinerary
Day 1
Sit back and relax as we depart this morning and travel south to the vibrant seaside town of Torquay. On arrival, we check into our elegant spa hotel, where you can settle in, unpack, and perhaps enjoy a leisurely stroll or a drink as the holiday atmosphere begins.
Day 2
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Explore Torquay’s palm-lined promenade, browse the harbour shops, or relax in one of the many cafés overlooking the marina. Alternatively, make the most of the hotel’s spa facilities and enjoy a day of pure relaxation.
Day 3
Today we visit Buckfastleigh for a delightful return journey on the South Devon Railway. Enjoy a traditional Devonshire cream tea served on board as you travel through beautiful Devon countryside. There will be free time to explore Buckfastleigh at leisure before returning to Torquay later in the day.
Day 4
Today we visit the elegant coastal town of Sidmouth, nestled along the Jurassic Coast. With its pretty gardens, traditional seafront, and independent shops, Sidmouth is perfect for a gentle stroll or a relaxing lunch by the sea.
Day 5
A full day exploring two of South Devon’s most fascinating towns. We begin in Dartmouth, famed for its stunning river setting, historic streets, and picturesque harbour. Later, we continue to Totnes, a town rich in history and character, with a vibrant market atmosphere and unique independent shops.
Day 6
This morning we visit the delightful Babbacombe Model Village, where beautifully crafted miniature scenes bring villages, towns, and countryside to life. In the afternoon, we return to Torquay for free time – ideal for last-minute shopping, a harbour cruise, or simply relaxing and enjoying the seaside ambiance.
Day 7
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Torquay and begin our journey home, taking with us wonderful memories of a relaxing and scenic Devon holiday.

Spa facilities including hydro pools, a cold plunge pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms.
