Explore Eastbourne and Sussex, an area with stunning coastlines, quaint shopping streets and rich history. We include a nostalgic rail journey, an English country garden and visit historic towns.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way South to Eastbourne arriving late afternoon.
Day 2
Today we have a free day in Eastbourne. Take a stroll along the promenade, which is right outside the hotel, or its just a short walk to the town centre.
Day 3
We begin the day in Lewes. The historic town has an abundance of antique and quirky shops filled with souvenirs to take home. In the afternoon we have a return trip on the Bluebell Railway. Sit back and relax as a steam train takes you through 11 miles of glorious Sussex scenery.
Day 4
Morning visit to Pashley Manor Gardens. Discover 11 acres of beautiful borders and vistas with sweeping herbaceous borders, espaliered rose walk, historic walled garden, inspiring kitchen garden, venerable trees and the Grade I listed house as a backdrop. In the afternoon we visit Hastings, home to the remains of the first castle in England built by William the Conqueror.
Day 5
After breakfast, rejoin the coach as we retrace our journey home.
