Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pickup point to Skipton. Here we have a few hours at leisure before continuing on to the hotel.Day 2
We begin the day with a relaxing journey to Grasmere, one of Cumbria’s most popular villages. We have a few hours here before heading to Ambleside at the top of Lake Windermere.Day 3
Our day begins in Bowness-on-Windermere. This sprawling market town is the most popular tourist destination in the Lake District. There is a lovely mix of shops as well as attractions – the delightful World of Beatrix Potter Museum is well worth a visit. In the afternoon we include a lake cruise to Lakeside.Day 4
Morning visit to Kendal. Situated to the south of Lake Windermere, this towns boasts a fine selection of shopping arcades, historic buildings and museums. We return to the hotel for lunch (included) with the afternoon at leisure.Day 5
After a leisurely breakfast we depart the hotel for the return journey home.Includes
