Itinerary

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Lichfield for some free time. This vibrant and historic city has streets lined with museums, independent shops and mouth-watering restaurants. We continue onwards to the hotel where we will be greeted with a warm welcome and tea/coffee.

Day 2

Discover the picturesque medieval town of Tewkesbury. Rich in timber-framed buildings, Tewkesbury has a long and fascinating history as well as being home to a famous Abbey. This afternoon, visit Cotswold Farm Park, where you can experience a stunning diversity of animals, rare breeds, a farm safari tractor ride and changing demonstrations which follow the farming cycle.

Day 3

Visit Cheltenham, England's most complete Regency town whose town houses, characterised by intricate ironwork balconies and painted stucco facades, line the historic Promenade, squares and terraces. Enjoy a trip on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway through the heart of the Cotswolds from Cheltenham to the wonderful honey-coloured village of Broadway.

Day 4

Enjoy a visit to Hidcote Manor Gardens, where you can experience a stunning diversity of animals, rare breeds, a farm safari tractor ride and changing demonstrations which follow the farming.

Day 5

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way to Stratford-upon-Avon. Explore the market town with more than 800 years of history, containing not only many buildings that survive today and would have been familiar to Shakespeare, but also a thriving community offering a wide variety of leisure and shopping experiences. Return to the coach mid afternoon for the journey home.
