Bideford is an attractive port town on the west bank of the River Torridge in North Devon. The lanes are the perfect spot for some retail therapy with quirky little shops packed with all manner of interesting items.

Morning visit to nearby Barnstaple. Barnstaple is often regarded as the social heart of North Devon, due to its central location and wide range of amenities. There is a mix of shops along the High Street and a number of local museums. We return to Bideford for the afternoon.
Day at leisure in Bideford.
After a leisurely start to the day we travel through the Exmouth National Park to visit the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. A unique water powered Victorian Cliff Railway offers an alternative form of transport between the towns, giving stunning views over the bay towards south Wales.
Following breakfast, we make our return journey home.
