Enjoy a long weekend break hopping between the shires of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire. We include entry to Barnsdale Gardens which features 38 pocket-sized gardens with different themes, and you will be treated to a scrumptious cream tea whilst cruising on Rutland Water.PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Lincoln where we have some free time for shopping and sightseeing. The Cathedral is well worth a visit – it is one of the world’s greatest Cathedrals, welcoming people for almost a thousand years. Onwards to Stamford, a bustling market town with a wide range of shops, before arriving at the hotel early evening.
Day 2
We start the day at Barnsdale Gardens. Explore 38 individual gardens all filled with wonderful colours and scents. Whether you are a keen gardener or an armchair gardener, you’ll find something of interest here. In the afternoon we make a short stop in the traditional market town of Oakham before a visit to Rutland Water for a relaxing 45 minute cruise with a scrumptious cream tea.
Day 3
Today we visit Melton Mowbray, a town made famous for its delicious pork pies and Stilton cheese. You will have plenty of time to sample the local delicacies and browse the quirky shops before returning home.

The rooms are comfortably furnished with all the modern facilities needed for a peaceful night. There is an on-site leisure club with swimming pool and hot tub for your relaxation. The hotel does not have a lift. Ground floor rooms are available on request.
