NEW TOUR!

Tour Highlights: Two Great Welsh Railways and a Private Tour of Bodrhyddan Hall

Step aboard for a nostalgic steam-powered journey through the heart of North Wales, where majestic mountains, historic railways, and a stately home await. We stay in Caernarfon, a captivating town crowned by its UNESCO-listed castle and steeped in Welsh heritage. We have two unforgettable railway experiences. First, we travel the length of the Welsh Highland Railway, the UK’s longest heritage line, winding past the foothills of Snowdonia through breathtaking landscapes. Then, we board the Ffestiniog Railway in Porthmadog, the world’s oldest narrow-gauge railway, and steam through 200 years of history from the harbour deep into slate country. Adding a touch of grandeur to our journey, we enjoy a private tour of Bodrhyddan Hall, one of the few remaining familyowned stately homes in Wales. Nestled in acres of reclaimed woodland and vibrant formal gardens, this elegant estate offers a glimpse into centuries of Welsh aristocratic life.
