We stay in the Alpine resort of La Clusaz which has a beautiful position high in the mountains. Our hotel has breathtaking panoramic views and what better way to enjoy them than with free hot, cold, and alcoholic drinks from 1000 – 2300 everyday! We have a packed itinerary which includes the beautiful resorts of Chamonix, Annecy, and the chic lakeside spa town of Evian-les-Bains.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Thursday To Calais and on to our overnight hotel the Ibis Hotel, Laon where we are welcomed with a glass of wine. We should arrive mid-afternoon, so if you wish, you can explore this charming medieval hilltop town. A must-see is the Laon Gothic Cathedral (which is older than Notre-Dame!).
Friday We continue through France, skirt the border of Switzerland, and climb to our main hotel in the Alps and our base for the next five nights.
Saturday A FREE DAY to enjoy our hotel and the town of La Clusaz. If you wish, you can take a gondola or a chairlift to experience the tranquility of the mountains at this time of year (not included).
Sunday To Annecy, often described as the ‘Venice of the Alps’ it is a beautiful lakeside town blessed with charming canals and narrow streets. Our 90-minute walking tour gives an insight into the history of the town, and then after free time for lunch enjoy a 1-hour circular cruise on the lake.
Monday To Chamonix for free time in its relaxing town centre. Then we board the famous rack and pinion Train du Montenvers for a return journey to see the impressive glacier known as the Mer de Glace. The summit is at 1913 meters and we have time there to explore the Museum and Ice Cave.
Tuesday Through the Alps to the lakeside spa town of Évian-les-Bains, famous worldwide for its mineral water. After some free time, we continue to the village of Yvoire on the shores of magnificent Lake Geneva. This charming medieval village has hardly changed over the years and we have time to explore before a circular cruise on the lake.
Wednesday We return to Laon and to our overnight hotel.
Thursday To Calais and home.
