Based in a luxurious 4-star hotel, this tour explores the South Downs National Park area with four great inclusions including a tranquil cruise on the Wey & Arun Canal. As well as the attraction visits, we also visit Chichester, Brighton, Portsmouth and Southsea. The hotel has live entertainment on two nights and a quiz or bingo on another!

ItineraryMonday En route we enjoy a lunchtime stop in Portsmouth at Gunwharf Quay.
Tuesday To the unique Weald & Downland Living Museum, an open-air museum with a collection of over 50 original buildings spanning a period of 600 years. Site of the hugely popular ‘The Repair Shop’, in which the highly skilled craftspeople save broken treasures (Please note: they are not necessarily filming when we visit). In the afternoon we visit Chichester which has a cathedral,
shops and a Roman history to explore.
Wednesday We spend the morning in Brighton where you explore its famous attractions or just the shops and cafes!In the afternoon to Arundel Castle, set high on a commanding hill with superb views across the South Downs and River Arun. We can visit the Castle, Keep and Gardens.
Thursday A delightful ninety-minute cruise to start the day on the Wey & Arun Canal, cruising along the idyllic Loxwood Link section with picturesque scenery all the way. In the afternoon to Parham House and Gardens, one of the country’s finest Elizabethan Houses set in 875 acres of the South Downs. The spectacular gardens feature pleasure grounds, a four-acre walled garden, stunning herbaceous borders and much more.
Friday Free time in Southsea, with great views to sea, before we make our journey home.
