From our base at the excellent 4‑star Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy, we experience many different aspects of Ireland. Visiting over St Patrick’s Day, our stay includes one evening of live entertainment at the hotel.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

MONDAY We travel by ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare, followed by a short coach journey to our hotel in Enniscorthy. On arrival, we are welcomed with a hot drink and biscuits.
TOURS AT RESORT
A | A full‑day excursion to Waterford, said to be Ireland’s oldest city, where you can discover 1,000 years of history in just 1,000 steps. There is time to explore the historic streets and enjoy the local harbour‑town atmosphere. In the afternoon, we enjoy guided tours of both the Medieval Museum and Bishop’s Palace, brought to life by costumed guides. The Medieval Museum is housed in a striking modern building, while Bishop’s Palace is an authentic 18th‑century Georgian grand residence.
B | A leisurely full day in Kilkenny, Ireland’s medieval capital. The city offers a rich cultural heritage, beautiful streetscapes and excellent shopping.
C | A visit to Dublin, a capital city that is as intimate as a village and as welcoming as an Irish pub! Its streets and alleyways are filled with vibrant art, historic architecture and traditional pubs.
FRIDAY We collect a takeaway breakfast from the hotel before catching the morning ferry back to Wales. The holiday isn’t quite over, as we make a lunchtime stop in Carmarthen before continuing home.
