In the Footsteps of Sir Winston Churchill is an inspiring and memorable journey through the life and legacy of one of Britain’s greatest statesmen. Born in 1874 at the magnificent Blenheim Palace and laid to rest in the quiet village of Bladon in 1965, remains a towering figure in British history. This fascinating tour invites you to explore the places that shaped his life – from his birthplace to his wartime leadership in London, and his beloved home at Chartwell in Kent.

Itinerary

Thursday To Hampshire and enjoy a warm welcome with tea or coffee on arrival.

Friday Today we visit the stunning Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Churchill’s birthplace. Explore the rooms where he was born and enjoy time to wander the beautifully landscaped parkland. In the afternoon, we make a short stop at Bladon village, where Churchill is buried in the peaceful churchyard of St. Martin’s.

Saturday We travel into the heart of London to visit the Cabinet War Rooms and Churchill Museum. The adjoining museum offers a compelling insight into Churchill’s extraordinary life and leadership.

Sunday Our journey continues into the Kent countryside to Chartwell, Churchill’s cherished family home. Preserved by the National Trust, the house and gardens remain much as they were during his lifetime. After exploring the house and grounds, we head to historic Windsor for a short visit before returning to the hotel.

Monday After breakfast, we depart and begin our journey home, reflecting on the remarkable legacy of Sir Winston Churchill.
