The Broads have dramatic landscapes with raw natural beauty and a rare quality of light. Where big, bright skies meet endless horizons and dreamlike landscapes. Great Yarmouth is a famous holiday destination, bursting with fun things to do, activities for all, shows and attractions stretching along the fabled Golden Mile and the huge expanse of pristine beach. For our March date, we stay at the 4-star Prom Hotel which offers 2-nights of entertainment (1 live and 1 in-house.) Our May and September date stay at the Palm Court Hotel located on the seafront.

Monday We head towards East Anglia and make a stop in Bury St Edmunds, a jewel in the crown of Suffolk with a 11th century Abbey at its heart.Tours at Resort
A | A scenic Wolds drive with a lunchtime stop in Sheringham, a lovely resort with diverse shops and places to eat. We also visit Cromer with its great, sandy beaches.
B | A visit to the towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast. Southwold is quintessentially British and Aldeburgh is home to a pebble beach with fisherman’s huts, selling their catch, and a promenade lined with pastel-coloured villas.
C | We spend time in Norwich which is a wonderful fusion of the modern and historic. Its centre is easy to walk around, has a river at its heart and is the most complete medieval city in the UK with stunning Norman cathedral and castle. It also has superb independent as well as high street shopping and a quaint covered market.
D | We enjoy a 90-minute scenic boat ride on a Mississippi Paddle Boat before spending free time in the beautiful village of Wroxham for lunch. We return to the hotel with a scenic tour of the Broads.
Friday We return home with a stop in Saffron Waldren, a picturesque, medieval town. (In early 2025, named as the best place to live in the UK!)
