Newcastle is a vibrant city linked by seven iconic bridges across a bustling quayside with Gateshead. We spend time in the city and explore the coast north of Newcastle including a visit to Bamburgh. Our hotel is in the stylish suburb of Jesmond which is only a 10 minute walk from the famous Town Moor if you fancy blowing the cobwebs away during your stay. The Town Moor makes Newcastle truly special and is a space bigger than Hyde Park and Hampstead Heath combined! (Please note this tour will depart Christmas Eve, different to our other Christmas tours!)PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Christmas Eve We head to the North East and enjoy a warm welcome on arrival.
Christmas Day All day in the hotel to enjoy the big day. The Town Moor awaits if you need a walk after your Christmas lunch!
Boxing Day We take a scenic drive through Northumberland to the coast and visit the beautiful coastal town of Bamburgh, famous for its castle and also home to a wide beach.
Friday We have free time to explore Newcastle and Gateshead as we are dropped on the Quayside. We return to the hotel for afternoon tea by 1400. Later there is an optional trip to the Metro Shopping Centre.
Saturday We return home, following a stop in Durham.
