Itinerary
Itinerary
Friday To Glasgow and we cross the River Clyde across the Erskine Bridge then on to Loch Lomond and our hotel.
Tours whilst at resort
A | We pick up our packed lunch and head into the Trossachs ‘the highland in miniature’ and we enjoy a scenic drive via the Duke’s Pass, taking in Loch Achray, and onto the Visitor’s Centre on the shores of Loch Katrine. We then pass Loch Venachar on our way to Stirling. Stirling is a wee city with a big history and punches well above its weight with historic attractions, spectacular scenery, and great shopping! You may wish to visit the castle (not included) which has magnificent views.
B | In the morning a short, circular scenic tour taking in Loch Lomond, Loch Long and Gare Loch with suitable photo stops before returning to the hotel for soup and sandwiches. In the afternoon either relax in the hotel all or join the coach for the short journey to Loch Lomond Shores Shopping Centre which has over 100 shops and views across the famous Loch.
Monday We head home.
