Itinerary
Itinerary
Monday We begin our journey north with a lunchtime stop in Lincoln, a beautiful and historic city rich in heritage and culture. From there, we cross the iconic Humber Bridge and continue to
our hotel.
Tuesday Our voyage of discovery begins in Kingston upon Hull, a city with over 800 years of maritime history. A local guide joins us on board to bring Hull’s most beloved sights and hidden treasures to life. After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore Hull’s Old Town at your own pace.
Wednesday We take a leisurely drive along the Yorkshire coast, beginning with Flamborough Head, a dramatic chalk headland offering breathtaking scenery and home to two historic
lighthouses. Next, we visit Filey, a former fishing village turned charming seaside resort, known for its Edwardian architecture, historic promenade, and five-mile sandy bay. In the afternoon, we
step back in time at the Scarborough Fair Collection, a nostalgic treasure trove of vintage cars, steam engines, fairground rides, and penny arcades.
Thursday Today we visit Burton Constable Hall, one of Yorkshire’s most spectacular and best-kept secrets. With over 30 rooms filled with art, furniture, and surprises, and 500 years of family history, it’s a true hidden gem. Outside, explore over 300 acres of historic parkland. We return via the pretty market town of Beverley, home to its own magnificent Minster and a historic town centre full of character.
Friday We cross the Humber Bridge once more as we begin our journey home, with a lunch stop in Melton Mowbray - famous for its pork pies and Stilton cheese! Enjoy a stroll through the riverside gardens or browse the local shops before continuing home.
