8 Days | St Anton
Tour highlights: Cable Car and Linderhof Castle!
St Anton is found in the Western Tyrol, close to the Arlberg Pass and close to Switzerland, which we view from across Lake Constance. We also visit Southern Bavaria where we visit one of King Ludwig’s Castles as well as Oberammergau. St Anton not only allows for great days out, but it is also a pretty village with cafes and shops and on our rest day you can use your St Anton Summer Card to explore! Our 4-star hotel offers friendly hospitality and fine food, on one afternoon they lay on an afternoon tea with strudel.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Itinerary
Saturday To France on to our overnight stop at the Hotel Ibis Metz North.
Sunday We continue through France, and then Switzerland before entering Austria and our base for five nights, St Anton, where we are met with a welcome drink.
Tours at Resort
A | A FREE DAY to explore St Anton. There is plenty to do in the village and you can use your included St Anton Summer Card.
B | A scenic drive along the Inn Valley, with many hilltop castles to be seen, and then all day in Innsbruck. Innsbruck is over 800 years old and we have all day to explore this charming alpine city, including the most famous landmark of all, the ‘Golden Roof’. The city also hosted the winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976.
C | We travel over the Fern Pass (3000ft high point) and into Bavaria where we visit Linderhof Castle. The castle was King Ludwig’s (known as the Bavarina Fairytale King) favourite castle and was built to his demands of a Versailles-inspired palace. Later we visit Oberammergau, it is a picturesque town famous for its fairytale frescoes painted onto many of its houses. It also hosts a huge passion play every 10 years where people visit from all around the world.
D | A short trip out today to Feldkirck, a compact city with a well-preserved Old Town filled with medieval architecture, cafes and shopping. Schattenburg Castle majestically resides above the town centre and dating back to the 13th century. It is now a museum and can be visited if you wish (not included).
Friday We return to the same overnight hotel.
Saturday To Calais and home.
