Joyful rides, bright decorations and a lively atmosphere make it perfect for families, couples and friends alike. Together, the city and its market create an unforgettable Christmas escape that’s cosy, vibrant and beautifully atmospheric. You can spend all weekend in Edinburgh or on the Saturday you can join the coach to visit the historic city of Stirling, where Scotland’s past comes vividly to life. From the towering Stirling Castle to the iconic Wallace Monument, it’s a day rich in heritage and Highland charm.

FRIDAY We journey north into Scotland and arrive at our comfortable hotel in Edinburgh.
SATURDAY A choice today, either all day in Edinburgh and explore this bustling city at your own leisure, or opt to join our coach for a visit to Stirling, one of Scotland’s most historic cities. Explore its charming streets, take in the views, and perhaps visit the magnificent Stirling Castle (entry not included), a key site in Scotland’s royal and military history.
SUNDAY All day to explore Edinburgh at your own leisure. Whether you prefer history, shopping, museums or a relaxing stroll, Edinburgh provides an excellent variety of options for a memorable day.
Top sights to see: Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, Princes Street Gardens, and the Royal Botanic Garden—each offering plenty to see and do (all admissions not included).
MONDAY Following breakfast, we begin our journey home with a stop at the romantic and historic Gretna Green, famous for its runaway weddings and blacksmith’s anvil.
PLEASE NOTE: Dinner is included for the first night only. The hotel has a restaurant and there are many eatery options nearby.
