Eastbourne is celebrated for its lush rolling landscapes, stunning beaches, and the iconic chalk cliffs of Beachy Head. This tour offers a variety of memorable excursions, showcasing the very best of the surrounding countryside and charming towns.
We stay at the Langham Hotel for our March date, ideally situated on the seafront and offering stunning coastal views.
For our June and August dates, we return to the elegant 4-star Hydro Hotel—a historic property that has been welcoming guests since 1895. One evening at the Hydro, we are treated to a pre-dinner reception with a complimentary glass of wine—perfect for unwinding and soaking in the scenic surroundings.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Monday We begin the week with a lunchtime stop in Arundel, a picturesque town that blends thousands of years of history with a vibrant mix of independent shops and charming cafés.
Tours at the Resort
A | Our day begins with a spectacular drive across Beachy Head, offering breathtaking coastal views, before arriving in Brighton—a lively and colourful seaside city. From the nostalgic fun of the pier to the exotic splendour of the Royal Pavilion, and a wide array of shops and eateries, there’s something for everyone. In the afternoon, we visit the quaint village of Alfriston, nestled in the Cuckmere Valley. This ancient village is steeped in history and full of character.
B | Today we journey to Rye, a beautifully preserved hilltop town with cobbled streets and panoramic views across the surrounding marshes. Later, we visit the historic town of Battle, which grew around the famous abbey built on the site of the 1066 Battle of Hastings. It’s a place where history truly comes to life.
Friday We conclude our tour with a scenic drive through the South Downs National Park, taking in the rolling hills and charming countryside. We stop for lunch in Midhurst, an attractive market town known for its independent shops and inviting eateries.
