2024 | Centred in Falmouth
Falmouth has a beautiful position, and our hotel is well located on the seafront, with far-reaching views. Having such a mild climate, sub-tropical plants bloom here. The magnificent natural harbour and interesting town add to the charm of this excellent resort. These holidays are a great value way to stay at one of our favourite hotels!PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Itinerary
First Day To Cornwall with a lunch time stop in Exeter, full of character, history and great food options.
Tours whilst at resort
A | We enjoy views of Mount’s Bay, overlooked by the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, before arriving at Land’s End where we make a short stop in this dramatic location. Then the coastal route to St Ives. St Ives is described as the jewel in Cornwall’s crown and has a picturesque fishing harbour.
B | We visit Par Market and Food Hall - open Wednesdays and weekends. One of the largest indoor markets in the UK with a huge choice from essentials to specialties and curios plus holiday memories. Then to Mevagissey where narrow streets and steep valley sides lead down to the distinctive twin harbour which provides a safe haven for the many fishing boats that land their daily catch. In typical picture postcard style, pubs, cafes, galleries and shops cluster around the harbour walls and line the pretty streets.
C | We travel to the north coast of Cornwall and after enjoying the scenic coastal drive from Newquay, we make a stop in Padstow. Padstow has a lovely setting by the Camel Estuary where narrow streets lead to the harbour.
D | We visit Truro, Cornwall’s cathedral city, with Georgian houses and interesting streets. On our return we make a short stop in Porthleven, an unspoilt fishing harbour steeped in history.
Last Day We return by a different route and remain in Cornwall with a lunchtime stop in the historic fishing port of Looe, where two rivers create a tidal harbour. The bustling harbour is the hub of the town and home to fishing vessels as well as pleasure craft.
