On this tour we explore a large part of this secret in the Irish Sea, with an amazing range of scenery including an abundance of rivers and streams, reservoirs, and hidden glens. Our base is the island’s most popular resort, Douglas.

Sunday We make our way north to Heysham and the three and a half hour ferry crossing to the Isle of Man.Tours whilst at resort
A | To Laxey, home of the largest water wheel in the country and where there is the opportunity to take the Snaefell Mountain Railway (not included) with magnificent views of the island. Free time in the afternoon to explore Douglas.
B | We head to Ramsey, a lively town known for its bustling shopping street, picturesque harbour, and sandy beach. Later, we continue to Peel, a charming historic fishing port famous for its traditional kippers. Expect stunning scenery throughout the day.
C | Enjoy a tour of the island’s south, starting with Castletown, the former capital, where narrow streets, quaint houses, and a medieval castle tell stories of the past. Then take in views of the Calf of Man—keep an eye out for seals!—before visiting Port Erin, a beautiful bay with crystal-clear waters and a spectacular setting.
Thursday We return to the mainland and the journey home.
