Wednesdauy We make our way north to Heysham and the three-and-a half-hour ferry crossing to the Isle of Man.Tours Whilst at Resort
A | To Laxey, home of the largest water wheel in the country and where there is the opportunity to take the Snaefell Mountain Railway (not included) with magnificent views of the island.
B | To Ramsey, a bustling town with a busy shopping street, harbour, and a beach. Then to Peel, an olde worlde fishing port noted for its kippers. Lovely scenery all day.
C | South Island tour visiting Castletown, the island’s former capital with its narrow streets, quaint houses, and mediaeval castle. Onward to view the Calf of Man (look out for the seals!) and a visit to Port Erin with its crystalclear waters and beautiful setting.
D | A free day to explore Douglas.
Monday We return to the mainland and the journey home.
