Fabulous hotel, entertainment and location make this a wonderful Christmas holiday! On our days out we get to see seven of the Lake District’s lakes and our hotel is situated in a secluded, wooded valleyhigh in the Shap Fells and surrounded by mountain streams.

Itinerary
Monday We travel north with a lunchtime stop at the Trentham Shopping Village. We are met with hot drinks and mince pies on arrival.Christmas Eve We make a circular tour with a lunchtime stop in Keswick. We view Ullswater, Thirlmere, Grasmere, Rydal and Derwent Water. Amazing scenery all day long!
Christmas Day The day starts with breakfast followed by morning tea with shortbread. A Kir Royale is served before Christmas dinner and there is also a live singer. Following the King’s speech, there is Christmas cake and in the evening a buffet dinner with another live singer.
Thursday Into the southern Lake District and we make a stop in Bowness-on-Windermere. We continue around Lake Windermere and complete our circular tour with a drive along the banks of Coniston Water before returning to our hotel for a light buffet lunch.
Friday We return home with a lunch time stop at the rejuvenated Waterfront in Liverpool.
