Itinerary
Monday We head towards Kent with a lunchtime stop in the resort of Eastbourne.Tuesday All day at Leeds Castle where we can wander through hidden passageways and discover the castle’s lavish interiors, transformed by King Henry VIII for his first wife, Katherine of Aragon. There is also time to explore the 500‑acre estate —wander through vibrant formal gardens, enjoy lakeside walks, or even try your hand at navigating the castle’s famous maze. We round off the day with a Cream Tea whilst listening to a 30 minute talk on High Society Secrets!
Wednesday We start the day in Whitstable, a lovely seaside town that is home to boutique shops, eateries and a pleasant harbour. Then a scenic drive via Broadstairs to Ramsgate for a guided tour of the Tunnels. They are the largest network of civilian wartime tunnels and we hear stories of life underground.
Thursday To Sissinghurst Castle, a romantic garden estate featuring enchanted themed rooms, a tower and peaceful gardens. Later we visit Chapel Down Vineyard, for A guided tour, talk and tasting with tutorial.
Friday We return home with a stop in Brighton.
