At this time of year, some of the most picturesque cities in Germany and Belgium are transformed into magical Christmas wonderlands, filled with festive chalets, delicious seasonal treats and sparkling entertainment. Brussels hosts one of Europe’s most enchanting Christmas markets, centred around the famous Grand Place and stretching across the city with a 2km trail of stalls, attractions, and twinkling lights. In Aachen, the main Christmas Market surrounds the magnificent cathedral, with two smaller markets just a short stroll away, creating a warm and welcoming festive atmosphere. Meanwhile, Bruges offers a smaller, cosy market set in the heart of its UNESCO‑listed medieval centre—a perfect backdrop for a magical winter visit!

FRIDAY We begin our journey with a ferry crossing to France, where a meal and drink are included onboard. After landing, we continue through Belgium to our hotel near Brussels.
SATURDAY Enjoy a full day to explore Brussels and its spectacular Christmas Market. Our coach will take you into the city and collect you later, giving you the freedom to wander the stalls, sample festive delights, and take in the city’sb famous holiday atmosphere.
SUNDAY Today we travel into Germany to visit the renowned Aachen Christmas Market. With a history spanning over 1,200 years, Aachen’s cathedral provides a breathtaking backdrop to one of Germany’s most beloved festive markets. Explore the charming streets, soak up the seasonal warmth, and enjoy traditional German treats.
MONDAY On our return journey, we make a short stop in Bruges. Beautiful at any time of year, Bruges is especially captivating at Christmas—its canals reflecting twinkling lights and the irresistible scent of warm waffles filling the air. We then continue to the ferry for the return crossing, where another meal and drink are included.
