Known for his warmth and wit, David will guide you through one of the town’s most popular vintage destinations, Antiques on High. Blending antique treasures with Victorian elegance, this entertaining day promises laughter, learning and lasting memories. Harrogate is a great base in its own right and we have plenty of time to enjoy the town as well as the nearby Yorkshire Dales.

Monday We travel up the east side of the county with a refreshing stop in Bakewell, a charming town idyllically set on the banks of the River Wye and famously known for its delicious puddings. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot drink and biscuits to start the trip in comfort.

A | Enjoy a hands-on, laughter-filled experience at one of Harrogate’s most beloved vintage spots, Antique on High. Begin with David’s expert insights and entertaining anecdotes, then dive into a lively two-hour bargain hunt challenge. As you search for hidden gems, David will share fascinating, little-known stories about the antiques you uncover. The day concludes with a luxurious afternoon tea, where David reviews your finds and reveals more about their history and value. A fun, engaging, and unforgettable antiques adventure!
B | Take in the beauty of Yorkshire with a circular coach tour of the Dales, featuring stops in: Hawes, home of the famous Wensleydale Cheese, and Skipton, a historic market town with a vibrant atmosphere and rich heritage.
Thursday Enjoy free time to explore Harrogate at your leisure—perhaps visit the famous Bettys Café Tea Rooms, stroll through the Valley Gardens, or browse the elegant shops. We depart for home at 14:00, bringing a relaxing close to your Yorkshire getaway.
