We depart and make our way to Hull,arriving late afternoon where we enjoy 4 nightsstay with dinner, bed & breakfast with tea/coffee and biscuits served on arrival.
We begin with a drive into theseafaring City of Kingston-upon-Hull and themorning is free to explore and obtain lunch. Thisafternoon we visit The Deep, one of the world’smost spectacular aquariums with over 3500 fishincluding Europe’s only pair of green sawfish anda variety of stunning sharks and rays.
Today we have a short drive tonearby Beverley and during the day we include aguided tour of the Minster. Built in the 13thcentury the Minster stands at one end of thetown, with St Mary’s Church at the other. Inbetween the two the town centre is full ofmeandering little streets with the market crossand the Georgian-fronted shops creating a townfull of charm and character. Take a stroll around,enjoy lunch, and watch the world go by.
A scenic drive through the lovelyYorkshire Wolds takes us to delightful BurtonAgnes Hall. The Hall is still a family home, nowlived in by the 23rd generation of the family.Discover the Hall and beautiful well-keptgardens, and the Courtyard is an ideal place fora lunchtime snack. From here we head for theseaside and Filey with the chance to enjoy astroll along the delightful sea front overlookingthe town’s excellent beaches. In Filey we havearranged for Cream Tea (included) at the WhiteLodge Hotel, with beautiful views out to sea.
After breakfast we depart for home.
