Monday
We depart and make our way north and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• Free time to explore the picturesque Yorkshire Dales village of Reeth before a scenic drive through the Yorkshire Dales passing Castle Bolton to Hawes.• We head to Leyburn to board the Wensleydale Railway to Bedale.• We journey to Thirsk and visit ‘The World of James Herriot’, a fascinating tour, including many of the props and three studio sets as featured in the long running TV series basedon the life and times of local vet Alf Wright.• The market town of Northallerton where there is free time to explore and perhaps treat yourself at the local branch of Betty’s famous tearooms.• Visit to Ripon, with its magnificent cathedral, where we enjoy a 30 minutes cruise on the
canal alongside free time to explore with
today being market day.• We make our way to delightful Masham where we feature a tour and tasting of the award-winning Black Sheep Brewery.
Friday
After breakfast depart for home.

The Holiday Inn Darlington/Scotch Corner is just a short drive from our visits and is an ideal base for this tour. Facilities include indoor swimming pool and gym, bar and lounge and all bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
