We depart and make our way north to Whitby and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast
During your stay
• Visit to the village of Goathland, also featured as ‘Aidensfield’ in TV’s Heartbeat where we take break. short walk across the Spa footbridge to the town centre and shops.The charming resort of Scarborough where you can enjoy the delightful promenade in the attractive Belvedere Gardens or take a short walk across the Spa footbridge to the towncentre and shops.• A free day to discover the varied attractions of Whitby where you can wander the little alleyways and narrow streets or perhaps climb the famous steps up to the ruins of Whitby Abbey.• Excursion to the ancient and historic city of York with so many things to see and do including The National Railway Museum, The Jorvik Centre, The Castle Museum or maybe stroll around the City Walls.

After breakfast we depart for home.

Your Hotel
High on the West Cliff, the Royal Whitby Hotel occupies a commanding position with wonderful views across the beaches, harbour and lovely old town. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
