Monday
We depart for the Lake District and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast.
During your stay
• We are met by our guide who
will join us on the journey to Lake
Windermere for our first guided
tour of the holiday, which will last
approximately 2 hours. Followed
by free time.• Visit to Ambleside where we will be able to explore the town.• Our guide will join us for the day as we travel to the North Lakes for a gentle stroll around Glenridding and Ullswater.• We travel to beautiful Kendal for free time to explore.• Grasmere, passing Helvellyn (England’s third highest mountain at 3118 feet) and various lakes enroute. Once in Grasmere, you will have the opportunity to try some of its famous ginger cake!
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.

Opened in 1833, The Shap Wells Hotel is set in tranquil surroundings amongst the Lakeland fells and is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful corner of England. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities.
