We depart for Dover and the ferry toCalais. We then continue to our hotel in theRhine Valley for the next 4 nights with dinner,bed and breakfast.
We visit Rüdesheim, a famous winetown and home of the world-knownDrosselgasse where you have free time toexplore. In the afternoon we cruise fromRüdesheim to St. Goarshausen enjoying themarvellous panoramic views of the Rhine Gorge.
We visit the beautiful riverside townof Cochem where we board our boat for a cruisealong the Moselle River with its famousvineyards bordering the water. After the cruisethere is free time to obtain lunch and we thenvisit one of the winegrower’s in the area ofCochem.
Our frst stop today is Königswinter, anhistoric town located at the foot of theSiebengebirege close to Bonn where we boardthe famous Drachenfelsbahn, Germany’s oldestcog railway. At the top of the Drachenfels youcan see the ruined medieval Drachenfels Castleand have breath-taking views across the RhineRiver and then later return to Königswinter onthe cog railway for some free time. We thencontinue to Koblenz one of Germany’s oldesttowns with a tour included.
We depart after breakfast for our returnferry crossing to Dover then onwards to the WestCountry.
