We depart and make our way toLincolnshire and our hotel for the next 4nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• Guided tour of the historic city of Lincoln with its magnificent cathedral, and next toit the Norman Castle.• Visit to the historic market town of Newarkon-Trent.• We visit the old English town of Melton Mowbray where you can explore and maybeenjoy one of the famous pork pies from ‘Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe’, as well as the local cheeses.• Visit to the traditional market town of Oakham, with many book and antiqueshops together with the towns heritage attractions including the Butter Cross, 14thcentury church, Rutland County Museum and Norman Castle• Excursion to Stamford, best known for its 17th and 18th century stone buildings andtimber framed houses. It has become a popular location for many period dramassuch as Pride and Prejudice.• Burghley House, a grand 16th century Tudor Mansion, designed by William Cecil, LordHigh Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I.
