Holiday Highlights
We head to Enkhuizen where we board the museum ship Friesland for our cruise to Medemblik. After free time we board the famous tram for our included journey which travels through the lovely Dutch countryside, with coffee and a local pastry.
Edam, home to the world-famous cheese of the same name.
The delightful village of Volendam, the prettiest and most popular old fishing village which has a lively harbour and is famous for the traditional costumes that are still worn today.
Visit to a cheese and clog makers, with a demonstration as well as lots of cheese varieties to sample, and souvenirs to take home.
We visit Arnhem which played a pivotal role during the final days of the Second World War, portrayed in the film 'A Bridge Too Far'

Monday
We depart and make our way to Dover and the ferry crossing to Calais. From here we continue to our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast
