We depart for Dover and the ferry toCalais and then continue to our overnight stop inSaarbrucken with bed and breakfast.
After travelling southwards through theAlps, we arrive in Klosters and check in to theSilvretta Park Hotel for the next 3 nights withdinner, bed and breakfast.
Today will be at leisure in Klosters, givingyou time to explore the local area andneighbouring Davos.
We enjoy a scenic drive to St Moritz,where we will spend time exploring this famousstylish resort, 1,856m above sea level. Afterperusing the designer boutiques along Via Serlas,take a horse and carriage ride around the lake,through the Staz forest or the grand town itself(extra).
The highlight of our holiday is today,as we make the spectacular Bernina Express trainjourney from Davos to Tirano . A high point of thisjourney is the panoramic view from the BerninaExpress as it passes glaciers on its descent to aland of swaying palms. The journey goes through55 tunnels and over 196 bridges, with the sectionbetween Thusis and Tirano classed as a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site. We disembark in Tirano fromwhere we board our coach and make our way tothe town of Iseo our base for the next 3 nightswith dinner, bed and breakfast.
Today, we travel to Lake Garda and paya visit to the town of Salò, the renowned port andentrance to the Riviera dei Limoni. In theafternoon we enjoy wine tasting at CantineRedaelli de Zinis, a stunning winery to the southwest of the Lake. This region is known as theTuscany of Lake Garda and will provide us with anexcellent, authentic Italian experience.
We pay another visit to neighbouring LakeGarda for the day. Firstly, we stop in thepicturesque town of Sirmione, with its castleperched on the end of the peninsula, where weenjoy free time. We then travel onwards toMalcesine, with its stunning castle and cobbledstreets, from where we enjoy a cable car journeyup to the summit of Monte Baldo, with itsspectacular views across the lake.
Departure after breakfast as we makeour way back to Saarbrucken for our fnalovernight with bed and breakfast.
We make our way back to the port andour ferry crossing to Dover, then onwards to theWest Country.
Silvretta Park Hotel, Klosters
Located in the heart of the village, the Silvretta
Park has a traditional wooden exterior and a
spacious reception area. All bedrooms are en
suite with TV and hairdryer. There is a cosy
piano bar, lounge and three restaurants
serving a varied selection of cuisine to suit all
tastes. There are also leisure facilities

Located near the lake and 1km from Iseo town,
this excellent hotel offers stylish
accommodation and very comfortable public
areas, with plenty of seating, an outdoor
swimming pool, ftness centre, sauna, solarium.
