We depart and make our way to EastAnglia arriving late afternoon at our hotel for thenext 4 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast.Tea/coffeeand biscuits are served on arrival and there will be hotelentertainment on two evening.
During your stay
• A ride to the medieval village of Lavenham inthe heart of Suffolk with chance to explorethis historic gem, including the famousGuildhall and streets with delightful timberframed houses.• We visit the town of Stowmarket, the homeof the recently created National Museum ofFood which offers a multi-sensory experiencetelling the story of society relationship withfood through the ages.• We head south into Essex and Wilkin’sTiptree Jam Museum, tea room and shopwhere we enjoy a Cream Tea.• Visit to Newmarket – Home of Horseracingwhere we visit the National HorseracingCentre and learn all about the history of‘The Sport of Kings’ and perhaps the PackardGalleries of Sporting Art.• Bury St Edmunds with its famous AbbeyGardens, connections with Dickens and TheNutshell, reputedly the smallest pub in thecountry.
Friday
After breakfast we leave for home.
