Monday
We depart and make our way to Huddersfield and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast
During your stay
• We head for Harewood House in the heart of rural Yorkshire. The house holds an impressive art collection including Renaissance masterpieces, and exquisite Thomas Chippendale furniture.• Visit to Harrogate where you can explore at leisure. Perhaps take a stroll through the beautiful Valley Gardens followed by some retail therapy in the many shops.• Trip to the market town of Skipton, known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales.’ The High Street leads up to the church, behind which you see the grand 900-year-old castle and Skipton Woods.• We take a cruise on the Skipton Canal with a rib-tickling commentary by Dave Spikey with tea and biscuits included.• Visit to Haworth to board the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. A traditional steam train will take us on a leisurely ride along the line made famous in the film, The Railway Children. • The pretty town of Ilkley where you can explore.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.

The Cedar Court Huddersfield is one of the best-located hotels in Yorkshire and an ideal base for this tour. The hotel has recently benefited from a refurbishment and all bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. All bedrooms are located on the ground floor.
