Day One
We depart and make our way to St Mawes arriving late afternoon at the Ship & Castle Hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast.
During your stay
• Visit to the Grade II listed port of Charlestown, featured prominently in ‘Poldark’. The harbour was built in the 18th century to support the china, clay and copper mining industries. Later, we travel to the village of Mevagissey, a picturesque fishing village with colourful old buildings and photogenic 18th century harbour. • Enjoy a half day excursion to Padstow, a delightful fishing port with a quaint fishing harbour made famous by Rick Stein’s popular television series.• Free time to explore St. Mawes to explore at leisure or relax at the hotel.• We visit the bustling city of Truro with its flowing rivers picturesque streets 18th and 19th century town houses and magnificent cathedral that dominates the city.• Excursion to explore the delights of Falmouth. Strolling the bustling cobbled streets visit Falmouth’s charming mix of shops, from specialist outlets to well know high street names and art galleries.
Day Five
After breakfast we depart for home.
