Day 1
We depart from the West Country and make our way to Carmarthen, arriving late afternoon at the Ivy Bush Hotel for the next 2 nights stay with dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 2
We spend the morning in Swansea with its long bay which gives fantastic views over the coast. This afternoon we head north-west to the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, set in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, the garden is a fascinating blend of the modern and historic with a variety of gardens and other interesting things to see.
Day 3
After breakfast we depart for the fascinating Royal Mint Experience at Llantrisant where we learn about how the coins we use every day are made.

Set within walking distance of Carmarthen town centre and was once a favourite retreat for Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton. All bedrooms are en suite and have television, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
