We depart and make our way north and our overnight in the East Kilbride area.
Sunday-Tuesday
We continue our journey stopping off to explore the historic town of Inverness before arriving at the lovely seaside resort of Dornoch for the next three nights. During your stay you will enjoy:• Board the boat at John O’Groats to cross the Pentland Firth for a magical tour of the Orkneys, visiting the Neolithic village of Scara Brae, Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones, Italian Chapel and much more.• Enjoy a spectacular coast to coast train tour, departing Inverness to journey through the mountains and forests of the Highlands to arrive at the little village of Kyle of Localsh from where you can glimpse magnificent views of Skye in the distance.
Wednesday-Thursday
The ultimate road trip over the top of Scotland, following part of the spectacular rocky coastline known as the North Coast 500 before dropping back down to the idyllic whitewashed village of Ullapool for the next two nights• Free morning to explore Ullapool.• Visit to Inverewe Gardens.
Friday-Saturday
We journey to Arrochar and Loch Long for the next 2 nights.• Experience the serenity of Loch Lomond on an unforgettable cruise from the local jetty at Tarbet
Sunday
We depart after breakfast and head for home.
